The interest from the yellow-reds has been reported in the Brazilian and Spanish press. The 26-year-old player's agent made a statement regarding the matter.
"GALATASARAY MADE AN OFFER"
Speaking to the newspaper AS, Arias's agent Fernando Diniz stated that Galatasaray and Sevilla have made offers for the player.
"There was an offer from Zenit, but Arias did not want to go," the agent said, adding, "If Jhon wanted to leave, the club president would have had to convince him to stay. Galatasaray and Sevilla made offers. There is also interest in the player from France and Italy."
WHO IS JHON ARIAS?
Jhon Arias scored 11 goals and provided 17 assists in 59 matches for Fluminense last season. Fluminense became the Copa Libertadores champion last season and the Sudamericana champion this season.
