Galatasaray's Ziyech named to Champions League Team of the Week
Galatasaray's Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech has been named to the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week.
According to the statement made by UEFA, the Moroccan star of the yellow-red team, who played with 2 goals and 1 assist against Manchester United, was included in the Team of the Week for the most important club-level tournament in European football.
Ziyech was also nominated for the "Player of the Week" award in the UEFA Champions League.
The following players are in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Week:
Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund).
Defense: Lewin Blum (Young Boys), Mykola Matviyenko (Shakhtar Donetsk), Joao Cancelo (Barcelona).
Midfield: Phil Foden (Manchester City), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Joao Mario (Benfica), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Hakim Ziyech (Galatasaray).
Forward: Ciro Immobile (Lazio), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal).
The Champions League Team of the Week is composed of the players who received the highest points in UEFA's Fantasy Football game.
