Galatasaray's new signing Noa Lang has arrived in Istanbul
Dutch footballer Noa Lang, whom Galatasaray has reached an agreement to sign from Italian side Napoli, has arrived in Istanbul.
Continuing its transfer efforts, Galatasaray has added Dutch footballer Noa Lang, who plays for Italian representative Napoli, to its squad on loan.
The yellow-reds brought Lang to Istanbul. The 26-year-old footballer arrived at Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal on a private flight from Italy. The Dutch player was welcomed at the airport by Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu.
Answering questions from members of the press here, Noa Lang expressed his happiness regarding the transfer, saying, "The size of the club and the fans on Instagram were influential in my choosing this place. I had a minor injury during the match we played against Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League, but there is no problem now. I did not speak with any current or former players from Galatasaray. I was already very young when I lived here. I had knowledge about Galatasaray," he said.
Lang then went over to the Galatasaray fans and led them in a traditional "3'lü" chant.
The Dutch footballer then left the area in a vehicle waiting for him. The 26-year-old player will sign the official contract after undergoing a medical examination.
