Aziz Yıldırım puts an end to the speculation: Is he running for president again?

During a period of increased activity within the Fenerbahçe community, the name of former president Aziz Yıldırım has been brought to the agenda for the presidency once again. While the possibility of an extraordinary congress is being discussed, claims have been made that Yıldırım is preparing for candidacy.

At the yellow-navy club, where developments are being closely followed, Aziz Yıldırım broke his silence on the matter and made statements.

A CLEAR RESPONSE TO CANDIDACY CLAIMS

Speaking on the program hosted by Barış Yurduseven on TRT Spor, Aziz Yıldırım gave a clear response to the claims regarding his presidential candidacy.

Yıldırım emphasized that his decision is final, stating, "I will never be a presidential candidate for Fenerbahçe again."

“FENERBAHÇE NEEDS A CONSORTIUM”

In his statements, Yıldırım also evaluated the club's management structure, noting that Fenerbahçe should be managed with a consortium approach.

Yıldırım stated that there should be a president around whom the entire community can unite, reiterating that he would not be a candidate again.

“I WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT”

Although he expressed that he would not seek the presidency, Aziz Yıldırım said that he would continue to work for Fenerbahçe.

Yıldırım said, "However, I will be more involved with Fenerbahçe than I was during my presidency. I will provide all kinds of material and moral support. I have some projects. I will strive to bring them to life as well."

Touching upon the investments made in the past, Yıldırım drew attention to the real estate investments realized during his own presidency.

Yıldırım stated, "We made many real estate investments in our time. Subsequent presidents earned money for the club from these. I wish they had also driven a single nail [in terms of new construction]."
