Fenerbahçe faced Rangers away in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.
In a match where the normal time and extra time ended in a draw, the yellow-navies bowed out to their opponent 3-1 in the penalty shootout, closing their European chapter.
With this result, Fenerbahçe missed out on a quarter-final ticket and was also deprived of the 2.5 million euro extra income they would have received from UEFA.
On the other hand, the total prize money the yellow-navies earned from European cups this season has also become clear.
According to the report on NTV Spor, including the participation fee in the group stage, wins and draws, and performance bonuses, Fenerbahçe's total income from UEFA has been calculated as 16.4 million euros (approximately 651.65 million lira).
