Flash swap claim for Osimhen

A new claim has emerged regarding Nigerian star Victor Osimhen, who is currently playing for Galatasaray on loan and is under contract with Napoli.

The Italian press has reported that a swap plan is being discussed between Napoli and Manchester United. According to this claim, Osimhen could be traded for Manchester United's Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee.

Speaking to the local Neapolitan radio station Radio Capri, Tuttosport Editor-in-Chief Guido Vaciago stated, "This is a very interesting idea, but it is very complicated to implement."

Touching upon the injury issues at Galatasaray, Vaciago noted that Osimhen is of vital importance to the team, especially after Mauro Icardi was ruled out for the rest of the season. Stating that this situation would make a transfer in January difficult, Vaciago emphasized that the yellow-red club is not expected to approve such a departure during the mid-season transfer window.

"More Possible in the Summer"

Stating that there is no possibility of Osimhen being recalled in January according to his contract with Galatasaray, Vaciago said, "Napoli would need Galatasaray's approval to carry out this transfer before June 30. However, this swap could become a more concrete possibility during the summer transfer window."
