Following its Süper Lig championship, Galatasaray generated a turnover of approximately 300 million TL in just 9 days. With record-breaking interest from fans, products at GS Store locations were snapped up, with 12 million TL in sales recorded in a single day.
Galatasaray, which reached its 25th championship in the Trendyol Süper Lig and added a 5th star to its jersey, generated millions of liras in revenue between May 18 and May 26. While 300 million liras entered the yellow-red team's coffers in just 9 days, 12 million TL worth of products were sold in a single day at the GS Store tent set up during the championship celebrations in Yenikapı.
FANS SNAPPED UP PRODUCTS
According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, Galatasaray Club reached a total turnover of approximately 300 million TL during the 9-day period in question.
The club, which faced intense interest from fans starting from May 18, when the championship was declared, experienced a historic rise in store sales.
The GS Store tent set up at the grand celebration held in Istanbul Yenikapı on May 25, in particular, achieved 12 million TL in sales in a single day.
The intense shopping pace that spread over the weekend was also reflected in GS Store locations across the country. Club officials stated that a total of 50 million TL in revenue was generated throughout the weekend. Sales are expected to accelerate even further after Galatasaray's new 5-star jerseys hit the shelves. Club sources anticipate that fan interest will reach record levels with these jerseys.
