Galatasaray has released a statement regarding the health status of Victor Osimhen and Barış Alper Yılmaz, who were injured during the Sivasspor match. While a moderate-level strain and hemorrhage were detected in Victor Osimhen's right posterior upper muscle, Barış Alper Yılmaz was found to have a sprain in his left medial collateral ligament, a moderate-level strain and hemorrhage in his left ankle deltoid ligament, as well as edema in his ankle bones.

"Following the MRI examinations performed at our sponsor hospital, Medicana, for Victor Osimhen, who felt pain in his right posterior upper muscle during the Net Global Sivasspor match in the 15th week of the Trendyol Süper League, a moderate-level strain and hemorrhage were detected in his right posterior upper muscle group, and treatment for our player has begun.
Following the MRI and CT examinations performed at our sponsor hospital, Medicana, for Barış Alper Yılmaz, who was injured due to a hard tackle by an opposing player in the same match, a sprain in his left medial collateral ligament, a moderate-level strain and hemorrhage in his left ankle deltoid ligament (medial ankle ligaments), and edema in his ankle bones were detected, and his treatment has begun.
No specific timeline has been provided by our club or medical team regarding the return of our players to the pitch; actions will be taken according to their clinical progress within the busy match schedule."
Barış Alper Yılmaz is expected to be sidelined for approximately 3 weeks, while Victor Osimhen is expected to be out for approximately 2 weeks.
