Paris Saint-Germain are Champions League winners for the first time in their history

In the UEFA Champions League final, French side Paris Saint-Germain and Italian representatives Inter faced off at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

The match, officiated by Romanian referee Istvan Kovacs, saw PSG start as the faster side.

With goals from Achraf Hakimi in the 12th minute and Desire Doue in the 20th minute, the French team finished the first half with a 2-0 lead.

The French side remained the dominant force in the second half. With goals from Desire Doue in the 63rd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 73rd minute, and Senny Mayulu in the 86th minute, Luis Enrique's students not only won the Champions League final with the largest margin of victory but also brought this trophy to their museum for the first time in their history.

On the other hand, Inter, playing in their 7th Champions League final, had previously won the trophy in 1964, 1965, and 2010.

Inter's national player Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who was appearing in his second Champions League final, remained on the pitch until the 70th minute.
