Shocking claim regarding beIN Sports: The date it will withdraw from Turkey has been announced!

Journalist Fatih Altaylı has made striking claims regarding the Qatari company that owns Digiturk. In an article on his personal website titled "Even beIN might leave," Altaylı used striking expressions.

Fatih Altaylı's words are as follows;

Yesterday, I wrote about what kind of example the investigation opened against the chairman of the Qatar National Bank in Turkey sets for the foreign capital that is desired to be brought to Turkey.

On one hand, Mehmet Şimşek and even the President travel across the Gulf, seeking investment by praising today what they cursed yesterday, while on the other hand, you open an investigation against the manager of an investor due to ordinary criticism.

It is laughable.

Meanwhile, it is also claimed that they have sold their shares in the Istanbul Stock Exchange and have lost the title of the country with the largest foreign stake.

I don't know about that, but I do know that Qatar's appetite for investment in Turkey is no longer there.

You will remember that Ferit Şahenk, who invested nearly 2 billion dollars in Galataport, personally took the Emir of Qatar on a tour of Galataport and tried to market it to him.

The rumors of those days were that Galataport would be sold to the Qatar Investment Authority.

Two years have passed.

There is no one coming or going.

The subject has not even come up again.

Doğuş Group had to transfer Galataport to the banks.

As you know, the Altay Tank tender was first given to BMC, one of the assets of the Karamehmet Group that was seized by the government, and then 49.9 percent of BMC was transferred to the Qatari Army. Later, the Tank Pallet Factory belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces in Sakarya was also given to BMC.

11 years have passed since the sale of half of BMC to the Qataris, 7 years since the tender was given to BMC, and 6 years since the tank pallet factory was given to BMC.

There is neither a tank that has entered mass production nor the Qataris.

And even more interesting developments may occur at Digiturk.

As you know, Digiturk, which was seized while it belonged to Mehmet Emin Karamehmet and sold for an "unknown" price to beIN, a "truly" Qatari media group, was paying 550 million dollars for the live broadcast of Turkish football, but in the last tender, this price dropped to the level of 150 million dollars in real terms.

According to information from reliable sources, beIN plans not to enter the football tender in Turkey again when its contract expires in 1 year, and to dispose of Digiturk even if it is at a loss.

In other words, even your "closest" or "your close" Qatar no longer believes in you, trusts you, comes to you, or gives to you!

If it is a crime to warn while all this is happening and things are going from bad to worse, then we are guilty.

But we prefer to be guilty today rather than dragging the country into another disaster tomorrow and then saying, "We made a mistake, may God forgive us."
