Transfer hijack by Galatasaray from Fenerbahçe: The Yellow-Reds are finalizing the signing of the star player

Continuing its efforts for the mid-season transfer window, Galatasaray plans to make its first reinforcement of the new year to its defensive line.

The Yellow-Reds are expected to part ways with Victor Nelsson, who has fallen out of form and has not received much playing time this season, should an offer arrive.

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, in a recent statement regarding Nelsson's future, pointed to January 13, the start date of the mid-season transfer window, and said, "We have until the 13th of the month with Nelsson. After that, we need to talk about whether he wants to leave or stay."

Due to the high probability of the Danish center-back's departure, it has been claimed that the Yellow-Reds have already taken action and are close to finalizing the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Milan Skriniar.

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray has approached PSG for the loan transfer of Skriniar.

The Yellow-Reds are waiting for the Slovak player to make his final decision on which team he will join.
