A giant clash in the Champions League final

The champion of the 2024-2025 season of the UEFA Champions League, the most prestigious tournament in European club football, will be determined in the final match to be played tomorrow in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. French side Paris Saint-Germain and English representative Arsenal will face off at the Puskas Arena at 19:00 TSI. Referee Daniel Siebert from the German Football Federation will officiate the big final. Siebert will be assisted by Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn. Sandro Scharer will be the fourth official of the match, while Bastian Dankert will be in the VAR seat, and Robert Schröder and Carlos del Cerro Grande will serve as AVARs.

8TH MEETING IN HISTORIC RIVALRY AND PSG'S DOUBLE TARGET

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have faced each other 7 times in European cups to date. In these matches, both teams have won 2 times each, while 3 matches ended in a draw. Paris Saint-Germain won the last match played between the two teams on May 7, 2025, with a score of 2-1.

Paris Saint-Germain, the last winner of Europe's biggest trophy, aims to achieve a great success by reaching the championship for the second time in a row in the Champions League. The French representative, which will compete in the final for the 3rd time in its history, was defeated 1-0 by Bayern Munich in the 2020 final, and last season, it defeated Inter with a clear score of 5-0 to take the trophy to its museum for the first time.

UNDEFEATED ARSENAL IN PURSUIT OF FIRST TROPHY

English representative Arsenal, on the other hand, managed to reach the final with an undefeated title by winning 11 and drawing 3 of the 14 matches it played in the Champions League this season. The North London team will take the field to win the first Champions League trophy in the organization's history. Having reached the final 1 time before, Arsenal missed the trophy by losing 2-1 to Barcelona in the 2005-2006 season.

Having reached the happy ending in the Premier League this season and experiencing the joy of a league championship after 22 years, Arsenal wants to crown a historic season with a double victory by taking the Champions League to its museum as well.
