Göztepe makes its first signing of the new season

Having managed to promote to the Süper Lig with an impressive performance in the 1. Lig, Göztepe has completed its first transfer of the new season.

BRAZILIAN LEFT-BACK ADDITION

In an official statement, Göztepe announced that it has added Brazilian left-back Djalma Silva, who most recently played for AEL Limassol, to its squad.

The club stated that a 1+1 year contract has been signed with the 29-year-old player.

"An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Djalma Antônio da Silva Filho for 1+1 years, effective from the 2024/2025 season.

Djalma Silva, who most recently played for the South Cyprus team AEL Limassol, has 74 appearances with AEL Limassol in his South Cyprus career, and in his Brazil career, he has 41 matches with Operário Ferroviário EC, 40 with AD Confiança, and 21 with Esporte Clube Bahia.

We welcome Djalma Silva to Göztepe and wish him success in our glorious jersey."

Djalma Silva, who played 34 official matches for AEL Limassol, contributed with 3 goals and 4 assists in these matches.
