Young Turkish football star Arda Güler did not turn down autograph and photo requests from US police officers as he entered the stadium before the match against the US.
Our A National Football Team played its first friendly match against the United States as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group.
Falling 1-0 behind, the Crescent-Stars left the match with a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Arda Güler and Kerem Aktürkoğlu.
A video that circulated on social media before the match became a hot topic. US police officers stopped Arda Güler to request an autograph and a photo. Arda did not turn down the officers' request.
