Stating that he respected his club's decision when evaluating the offers from Saudi Arabia, Çalhanoğlu said, "It is true that offers came in. However, I decided not to leave Inter. When these offers arrived, I told the club, 'You decide.' But because I love Inter, I decided not to leave."
Having played in 22 matches for Inter this season, Çalhanoğlu has delivered a significant performance with 8 goals and 3 assists. The 29-year-old footballer, who transferred to Milan from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021, has won the Coppa Italia (2) and the Supercoppa Italiana (2) with Inter.
