Harsh reaction from Galatasaray to the British! 'Disrespect and insolence'

In a statement released by the yellow-red club, it was stated: "Following the match we played and won against Manchester United last night, this statement has become necessary due to the behavior of British official authorities during the return of the plane carrying the Galatasaray delegation. The disrespectful behavior, which began with the difficulties created by the British Consulate General in Istanbul during the visa process for our team's players, technical staff, and employees, continued during our team's entry into England and, as of last night, turned into treatment that is unethical and contrary to universal human rights values."

The statement, which emphasized that the problems continued during the return of the Galatasaray delegation, noted the following:

"The departure of our team's plane, which was scheduled for late last night, was unnecessarily delayed by unreasonably detailed baggage checks and was intended to be turned into an ordeal. The behavior of the official authorities during this process, as well as the disrespect and insolence shown, are indicators of an attitude taken against our country. It should be known that no one can treat the players, technical staff, and executives of Galatasaray Sports Club, the pride of Turkey, in this manner. We share with the entire public that we will fight to the end against those responsible for these indecent behaviors. Regardless of all these events, we would like to thank the Manchester United representatives who kindly hosted our club before and after the match."
