Beşiktaş Congress Member and presidential candidate Hasan Arat responded on his social media account to claims that Rıza Çalımbay would take charge following Burak Yılmaz's resignation.
Beşiktaş Congress Member and presidential candidate Hasan Arat responded in a statement on his X account to claims that Rıza Çalımbaywould take over the team following the resignations of Şenol Güneş and subsequently Burak Yılmaz.
Arat shared the following in his post:
"Dear Beşiktaş fans, you understood me correctly when I said we don't even have a day to lose. Now everyone understands it much better. We still have 23 days until the election. Rıza Çalımbay is a son of this club and an exemplary Beşiktaş figure, enough to say 'I will come whenever Beşiktaş needs me for however many matches.' In order to resolve the crisis on the pitch urgently and to prevent our team from drifting for another month, he should start his duty immediately if he deems it appropriate. If our community entrusts us with the duty, we will find common solutions with our coach, even if we have other plans. These things will not be a problem among Beşiktaş fans. As long as we change this course."
