He reacted after being left out of the squad: Jose Mourinho's response to Maximin was swift

Allan Saint-Maximin has been left out of the squad at Fenerbahçe. The French footballer was not included in the team traveling for the away match against Rangers.

Following this decision, Maximin reacted on his social media account.

In his post, Maximin stated, "It will take more than this to break me… When a lie takes the elevator, the truth takes the stairs; it takes longer but it always arrives in the end. If God is with us, who can be against us?"

Fenerbahçe Head Coach Jose Mourinho, in an interview with TRT Spor before the match, clarified the reason for the player being left out of the squad.

"I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS TALENTED AT POETRY"

Mourinho gave a clear message regarding the star player not being included in the match squad.

"I didn't know Saint-Maximin was talented at poetry. I'm not too bad at it myself. When a footballer works well, works hard, and trains every day, they are fit and can take the stairs. They don't need an elevator. However, if a player doesn't train well, arrives late, is overweight, or is not ready to play a match, they need an elevator to go up. Because they get tired quickly on the stairs."
