His name was being mentioned: Beşiktaş denies transfer rumors

Beşiktaş excluded Ghezzal, Aboubakar, Rosier, Bailly, and Onana from the squad following the Fenerbahçe match. 

While it was claimed that new names were being considered to replace these players and that transfer efforts had begun, the club issued a denial—without naming names—regarding Costa Rican center-back Francisco Calvo, who plays for Konyaspor and whose name had been mentioned.

The statement released by the club included the following:

"Reports published in the press and on social media claiming that our club is conducting transfer negotiations with certain players are completely baseless. We kindly request that all developments regarding our Football A Team be followed through our official channels and that reports not shared by our club be disregarded."
