Last year's champion and the 2022 champion to face off in the historic Kırkpınar Wrestling final
The two wrestlers who will face off in the final of the 663rd Historic Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, held in Edirne, have been determined. In the final of the major event, 2022 champion Mustafa Taş will face last year's champion Yusuf Can Zeybek.
In the CV Energy Oil Wrestling League, held for the first time this year by the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation, the matches of the four head wrestlers who made it to the semi-finals out of the 40 who qualified for Kırkpınar have concluded. 2022 Kırkpınar Champion Mustafa Taş, who defeated his opponent Serhat Gökmen, secured his place in the final. Last year's champion Yusuf Can Zeybek reached the final by defeating Hüseyin Gümüşalan.
