İbrahim Üzülmez on Barış Alper Yılmaz: We had a hard time

Pendikspor manager İbrahim Üzülmez made statements after his team's 4-1 away defeat to Galatasaray in the Süper Lig.

Stating that they played well and the only thing missing for them was a goal, İbrahim Üzülmez said, "We played well. We prepared well against Galatasaray. Of course, we lose, we are sad. As we try to climb up, we cannot win from time to time due to our problems in terms of alternatives and our problems in front of goal. It was 0-0 until the 35th minute; we could have scored and taken the lead. We fell 2-0 behind, it could have been 2-2. We keep going and going but cannot score. When you cannot score, it can be decisive against such an important team and against Barış Alper. I am proud of my players. Whatever we showed our players, they tried to do it on the pitch. We played a very good transition game. The only thing missing for us is the goal, the goals. To put up this much of a fight against an important team with 3-4 players in the front, including those who came on later, is significant.
