Jose Mourinho: 'Hakan's transfer to Inter is a miracle'

Roma manager Jose Mourinho made statements ahead of their Europa League match against Slavia Prague.

In his statement, Mourinho said, "Slavia Prague is 100% the strongest team in our group. Both they and we have 6 points. They are very good in attack. We are not Inter; we cannot rotate 5 players at once. Inter should win the league by a 20-point margin. They have very good players, we do not."

Regarding Romelu Lukaku's transfer to Roma, Jose Mourinho said, "I didn't know Lukaku was such an important player for Inter. More than 200 players have done what he did at Inter. Lukaku coming from Inter to Roma is a drama, but Hakan Çalhanoğlu going from Milan to Inter is a miracle. Cannavaro goes from Inter to Juventus, no problem; Vieri goes from Inter to Milan, no problem; but Lukaku coming to Roma is a problem! These reactions were a surprise to me."

Jose Mourinho also added, "I am very sad that I will not be on the bench for the Inter match. Whether I deserved this suspension or not is debatable, but I am sad that I will not be with the team for this match."
