Kocaelispor has taken steps toward a new contract with head coach Selçuk İnan, whose current deal expires at the end of the season.
The future of head coach Selçuk İnan at Kocaelispor has become clear. The club management has decided to extend the contract of the young coach, whose current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.
Responding to questions at a press conference yesterday, Selçuk İnan expressed his desire to stay at the club, stating, "We haven't had a definitive meeting yet, but my goals and dreams are to reach European competitions with Kocaelispor."
Having managed Kocaelispor for 27 matches over a 27-week period, İnan has led his team to 9 wins, 6 draws, and 12 losses, achieving an average of 1.22 points per match. With 33 points, Kocaelispor maintains its 8th-place position in the Süper Lig.
Official negotiations between the management and Selçuk İnan are expected to begin in the near future.
