Major drop in Beşiktaş shares: Investors suffer losses
Beşiktaş's shares on the stock exchange have lost 80.99 percent of their value despite recent capital increases.
Over the past year, the four major football clubs have carried out capital increases totaling 28.7 billion Turkish Lira. While 12 billion lira of this increase was covered by stock market investors, the remaining 16.6 billion lira was provided from the clubs' own resources.
The stock market performances of Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahçe have drawn attention.
SHOWED A DECLINE
Beşiktaş shares fell by 80.99 percent following the events at the council meeting over the weekend. Trabzonspor shares lost 19.07 percent of their value, while Galatasaray shares dropped by 14.33 percent.

Among the sports clubs traded on Borsa Istanbul, Fenerbahçe was the only club to provide gains to its investors, with a value increase of 22.5 percent. During this period, in which the BIST-100 Index fell by 4 percent, losses in the sports index exceeded 39 percent.
