Batman Petrolspor criticized the situation and announced that it had retracted its congratulatory message as follows:

However, the deliberate omission of our province of Batman's name in the animation video shared by Amedspor on its official account after the championship has been evaluated by us as a divisive approach that contradicts the unifying and solidarity-based spirit of football.

This attitude has been found unacceptable by our club, which believes in the unifying power of sports.

Our club, which feels the happiness of the people of Diyarbakır in its heart, has not remained indifferent to this development and has decided to remove the previously published congratulatory message."

Following these developments, the Amedspor management made a new post shortly after and apologized to the people of Batman.
