Merih Demiral: Challenges have taught me a lot

Our A National Football Team will face Austria in a friendly match in Vienna as part of their preparations for the 2024 European Football Championship.

National player Merih Demiral made statements at the press conference held before the match. 

Before the friendly match, Merih Demiral said; "Our preparations are going well. The Hungary match was bad in terms of the score, but we played well. We have a very important match tomorrow as well. Austria is also a very strong opponent. I am very happy to have returned to the national jersey. Everything is going well. Hopefully, we will finish tomorrow's match in the best way possible." 

Demiral continued his words by stating; "Everyone has their good periods. I think I am in good form right now. I suffered an injury right after my transfer. I went to a different country and had to adapt to it. I am much more experienced now. These challenges have taught me a lot. I am trying to be professional. I think I look good with my new look."
