Aziz Yıldırım, who lost the presidential election at Fenerbahçe, has sent a message to the yellow-navy fans.
Statement from Aziz Yıldırım:
"To the Great Fenerbahçe Fans,
Approximately 3 weeks ago, my friends and I aspired to manage our club, which we love more than anything.
Throughout the process, we reached out to thousands of our congress members, listened to their problems, and became the voice of their feelings.
In the ordinary elective congress held yesterday, Mr. Ali Koç and his administration were brought to office by the votes of our members. I sincerely wish them success in the new term. May the winner be Fenerbahçe, as we always hope.
I would like to thank all the Fenerbahçe associations that did not spare their support throughout this process, all our congress members who supported us or did not, our fans who are unparalleled in the world, our volunteer friends who never lacked their dedication for a moment, the CHILDREN, the youth, and our club.
My friends and I believe that by becoming candidates 3 weeks ago, we lifted the 'dead soil' off Fenerbahçe and gave our club a valuable momentum. I hope Fenerbahçe makes good use of this momentum and we reach the championships we have been longing for, one by one. As fans of this community, we will always be supporters of our teams on this path.
With the wish that Fenerbahçe children do not feel sad,
I greet you all with respect.
Aziz YILDIRIM"
