Minister of Youth and Sports Bak: 149 referees received 8-12 month bans
Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak stated, "There is an investigation being conducted with the Football Federation. It is a study we initiated about 1.5 years ago with the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Interior. 149 referees have been given bans ranging from 8 to 12 months."
Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the 2026 Central Government Budget and 2024 Final Account Law Proposal discussions and answered questions from members of parliament.
Minister Bak, responding to a question regarding betting operations, said, "There is an investigation being conducted with the Football Federation.
