Following Jose Mourinho's departure from Fenerbahçe, the yellow-navy club's shares on Borsa Istanbul have seen a notable increase. After the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) announcement, FENER shares gained over 6 percent in value.
Fenerbahçe Futbol A.Ş. has officially announced that it has parted ways with head coach Jose Mourinho. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the club stated the following:
“We have parted ways with Jose Mourinho, who served as the head coach of our Professional Football A Team for the 2024-2025 season. This information is presented for the attention of our investors.”
Following the announcement made at 10:36, rapid movement was observed in the club's shares.
OVER 6 PERCENT INCREASE IN SHARES
Immediately after the KAP announcement regarding Mourinho's departure, FENER shares experienced a significant gain in value.
Before the KAP announcement, the shares were at the 12.61 TL level.
As of 11:00, the shares had risen by 6.31 percent to reach the 13.30 TL level.
The shares, which started the last trading day of the week at 12.51 TL, climbed as high as 13.38 TL during the day following the news.
