Names revealed one by one: TFF sanctions 282 footballers for betting!

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has shared with the public the sanctions resulting from the comprehensive betting investigation conducted by the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK). According to the federation's information, the disciplinary process has been completed for 282 names identified out of 1,024 footballers.

In the TFF's statement, it was reported that the committee issued bans for 281 out of the 282 footballers referred for "betting." These players were given sanctions ranging from 45 days to 12 months, depending on the nature of their actions.

In the committee's assessment, it was stated that no new decision was made regarding footballer Canberk Aydemir. Since Aydemir had previously been penalized for the same action, it was noted that there was "no need to impose a penalty" in the current investigation. As is known, the PFDK had previously given Canberk Aydemir a 1-year ban on September 2, 2025.

The statement regarding the matter is as follows:

The decisions taken by our Committee regarding the 2nd League athletes referred to us in accordance with Article 57 of the FDT (Football Disciplinary Instructions) at the Professional Football Discipline Committee's meeting dated 18.11.2025 and numbered 28 are stated below.
