The A National Football Team, preparing to face Romania in the FIFA 2026 World Cup play-off round, continues its training sessions in Riva. The technical staff is continuing to work primarily with players who play in the Süper Lig, while young talents from the youth setup have also been invited to training.

Furthermore, Baran Gezek, Barış Kalaycı, Eyüp Aydın, Hamza Güreler, and Yasin Özcan from the U21 National Team squad also joined the training.

The training was carried out with the participation of a total of 19 players. The federation's statement included the following: "Today's training was carried out with a total of 19 players, with the addition of Fenerbahçe's Oğuz Aydın, Galatasaray's Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Eren Elmalı, Kaan Ayhan, Yunus Akgün, Başakşehir's Muhammed Şengezer, Trabzonspor's Mustafa Eskihellaç, and our players from the U21 National Team squad, Baran Gezek, Barış Kalaycı, Eyüp Aydın, Hamza Güreler, and Yasin Özcan, to the players who took part in yesterday's session. While Abdülkerim Bardakcı completed the session by jogging separately from the team, Barış Alper Yılmaz and Uğurcan Çakır, who could not take part in the training due to pain, received treatment."

Abdülkerim Bardakcı, who is still recovering from an injury, finished the training session by jogging independently from the team. Barış Alper Yılmaz and Uğurcan Çakır did not take part in the training due to their respective ailments and were placed under treatment by the medical team.

Ahead of the critical Romania match, the technical staff continues to closely observe both the current form of the squad and the performance of the young players. The A National Team is expected to address the absences in the squad in the coming days and continue its preparations with a full team.
