New move from the TFF for referees!

The Turkish Football Federation has announced that the foreign TV observer system will begin implementation in the Süper Lig starting from the 26th week.

The scores given by foreign observers will constitute 50 percent of the referee scoring system.

The statement made by the TFF is as follows:

"The foreign TV observer system, which the Turkish Football Federation has included in its program for the development of Turkish refereeing, will come into effect starting from the 26th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.

10 foreign observers, including former elite UEFA referees, will serve Turkish football in the new era.

The scores given by foreign observers will constitute 50 percent of the referee scoring system.

10 foreign observers, who currently hold high-level positions at UEFA, will evaluate and score the referees officiating in the Trendyol Süper Lig starting from this week. The scores given by this group of observers will play a decisive role in performance measurements, constituting 50 percent of the referee scoring system in the new era. The other 50 percent of the scoring will be determined by field observers, as well as a survey evaluation conducted by 119 people consisting of the VAR staff and referees and observers officiating in the top two leagues.

The names of the foreign observers who will begin their duties in the Trendyol Süper Lig starting from the 26th week are as follows:

Jorn West Larsen (Denmark)

Mike Riley (England)

David Borbalan (Spain)

Cees Bakker (Netherlands)

Alan Snoddy (Northern Ireland)

Lucilio Batista (Portugal)

Alexs Deaconu (Romania)

William Young (Scotland)

Bo Karlsson (Sweden)"
