New statement regarding Icardi's treatment

Galatasaray defeated Çaykur Rizespor 5-0 in their home match during the 5th week of the Trendyol Süper League. Following the match, Galatasaray Team Doctor Yener İnce made statements to the press regarding the injured players.

İnce stated, "Ziyech returned from the national team injured. I am not giving a timeline; I have never given a timeline in my life. I monitor the players on a daily basis. We have no intention of turning players into heroes, but it is true that they have been making sacrifices for years. Ziyech returned injured. He has bleeding and a slight tear in his hamstring. We have started working on his recovery. The same applies to Icardi."

Stating that Argentine striker Mauro Icardi's treatment will continue in Turkey after Monday, İnce said, "His staying there due to family problems is a matter we prefer."

Regarding Serbian footballer Filip Kostic, who was transferred by Fenerbahçe, Yener İnce said, "Honestly, I have not had any discussions anywhere regarding the health of any player Fenerbahçe has signed. The Galatasaray Club has not asked me any questions about Kostic's health to date. I have never been side-by-side with the player. Therefore, I have no information regarding his health."

İnce also added that Kaan Ayhan does not have any injuries.
