Number of licensed clubs rises to 32

In a written statement issued by the TFF, it was stated: "The TFF Club Licensing Board conducted evaluations within the scope of the National Club Licensing System. As a result of the examinations, the applications made by clubs in the top three leagues—the Trendyol Süper Lig, Trendyol 1. Lig, and TFF 2. Lig—were reviewed based on sporting, football social responsibility, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal, and financial criteria.

In its initial evaluations held on May 21, 2025, the Club Licensing Board granted UEFA Licenses to the following clubs: Beşiktaş, Çaykur Rizespor, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Göztepe, Eyüpspor, Kasımpaşa, Başakşehir, Samsunspor, and Trabzonspor from the Trendyol Süper Lig; İstanbulspor from the Trendyol 1. Lig; and Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesi Fomget G.S.K., Beşiktaş JK Women's Football Team, Fenerbahçe Petrol Ofisi Women's Football Team, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor Women's Football Team from the Turkcell Women's Football Super League.

The Board also deemed it appropriate to grant National Licenses to the following clubs: Bodrum FK from the Trendyol Süper Lig; Çorum FK, Iğdır FK, Manisa Futbol Kulübü, and Ankara Keçiörengücü from the Trendyol 1. Lig; and Beyoğlu Yeni Çarşı Spor Faaliyetleri, Ankara Demirspor, Altınordu, Adana 01 Futbol Kulübü SK, and Karacabey Belediye Spor from the Nesine 2. Lig.

The Board met today to make decisions for the second stage of the National Club Licensing process. Accordingly, national licenses were granted to Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü and Alanyaspor from the Trendyol Süper Lig, and to 68 Aksarayspor, Sarıyer, Batman Petrol Spor, and Fethiyespor from the 2. Lig, after it was observed that they had completed their deficiencies within the given timeframe.

In the same meeting, the Board imposed fines and granted a second 30-day extension to the remaining clubs that could not complete their deficiencies, in accordance with the relevant articles of the Annex XIV table of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Instruction, which determines the sanctions to be applied for criteria violations as regulated in Article 26/1 of the Instruction.

Thus, the number of clubs granted licenses for the 2025-2026 season has risen from 26 to 32," the statement concluded.
