Okan Buruk vetoes Ömer Ali Şahiner
Galatasaray management sat down with Rams Başakşehir for Ömer Ali Şahiner as they look to bolster their squad with a domestic right-back. However, the transfer was abandoned after head coach Okan Buruk vetoed the move.
It has been claimed that Ömer Ali Şahiner's potential move to Galatasaray, who are continuing their transfer efforts for a domestic right-back and midfielder, was blocked by head coach Okan Buruk's veto.
According to a report by Hürriyet newspaper, the financial terms for the transfer of Ömer Ali, who was the primary target for the right-back position, were inquired about with Rams Başakşehir. However, negotiations were terminated after Okan Buruk did not want the experienced player.

It has been learned that the yellow-reds are in contact with several other domestic right-backs currently playing in the Süper Lig.
In the search for a domestic midfielder, Berkay Özcan, also from Rams Başakşehir, remains the top priority. A transfer involving a swap deal plus a sum of money is being considered for the 25-year-old player.
Galatasaray's other alternative is Okay Yokuşlu, who plays for West Bromwich Albion. The 29-year-old player, who is among the key figures for the English side, has a market value of 3 million Euros. Having played 41 matches and scored 4 goals last season, Okay has started in the first 11 in all 6 matches this season.
