Okan Buruk: 'We could have been at a very different point right now'

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk made statements following the Bayern Munich match.

"I don't want to attribute our situation directly to the referee here. I congratulate my players; we played the game we could play against Bayern Munich. There is a yellow card that wasn't shown to Davies in the second half. If they had been reduced to 10 men, it could have been different. There was a stamp on Barış's foot before the first goal we conceded.

Compared to the first match, we gave our opponent more chances. We played against a mechanized team. I congratulate my players. Our goal is to advance from the group. If we had taken 1 point here, it could have been good for us. We reacted in the final minutes, but we couldn't turn the match around.

Icardi's muscle tightened, and he had to come off because he didn't feel comfortable. Angelino had to come off because he was tired. We are being careful with the process regarding Hakim. We don't have any very serious injuries right now.

We could have been at a very different point right now. If we had capitalized on the positions we created, I could be talking about us having already advanced from the group right now.
