Okan Buruk's son Ali Yiğit Buruk referred to PFDK following corridor incident
Ali Yiğit Buruk, the son of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, has been referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) over allegations of unsportsmanlike conduct following the match against Kocaelispor.
It has been reported that Ali Yiğit Buruk was among those included in the disciplinary referrals announced by the Turkish Football Federation following the 29th week of the Trendyol Super League. It was stated that Ali Yiğit Buruk was referred to the PFDK due to his behavior in the locker room corridors during the Kocaelispor match. In the announcement made by the TFF, the phrase "unsportsmanlike conduct" was cited as the reason for the referral.
According to journalist Tahir Kum, who spoke during a live broadcast on TGRT, it is alleged that after the match between Galatasaray and Kocaelispor, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Ali Yiğit Buruk directed insulting remarks toward referee Oğuzhan Çakır and cursed at him, with these actions reportedly being recorded in the referee's report.
Furthermore, it is alleged that Ali Yiğit Buruk's various remarks in the locker room corridor following the previous Trabzonspor match were also included in the report.
