Panathinaikos, led by Ergin Ataman, is going through difficult times
The Greek team Panathinaikos, coached by Ergin Ataman, lost 86-81 to Maccabi Playtika in the 4th week of the EuroLeague, marking their third defeat of the season.
Panathinaikos, which stood out as the most active team in the transfer market in the number 1 club-level organization of European basketball, has not been able to display the desired performance in the past four weeks.
The green-and-white team was defeated 86-81 at home by the Israeli team Maccabi Playtika in the fourth week. Ergin Ataman was ejected from the game after receiving his second technical foul for protesting the referee vehemently in the third quarter.
Having lost to Olympiacos, Fenerbahçe Beko, and Maccabi Playtika in the EuroLeague this season, Panathinaikos secured its only victory against Bayern Munich.
Panathinaikos, which also lost the Greek Super Cup final to its arch-rival Olympiacos, has won two league matches.
