PFDK announces: Sivasspor declared to have forfeited the match
The Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has announced that Sivasspor has been declared to have forfeited their Ziraat Turkish Cup match against Kocaelispor with a 3-0 score, due to fielding Murat Paluli, who was under administrative suspension.
The decisions taken by the PFDK following today's meeting are as follows:
"It has been decided that Sivasspor Club shall be declared to have forfeited the Kocaelispor - Sivasspor Ziraat Turkish Cup Group Stage match played on 04.02.2025 with a (3-0) score, in accordance with Articles 22/f and 23/4 of the Football Competition Instruction, due to the participation of a player under administrative suspension in the match; although Sivasspor Club athlete Murat Paluli was referred to our Committee for the act of Non-Compliance with the Suspension by playing in the match despite being under administrative suspension, it has been decided that there is no grounds for imposing a penalty as the elements of the alleged disciplinary violation were not met, (by majority vote)
In the same match, it was decided that Sivasspor Club official Taylan Okan İşçi shall be punished with a 4-match ban from entering the dressing room and the substitute bench, and a fine of 148,500 TL, in accordance with Article 50/1-c of the FDT, due to his participation in the act of non-compliance with the administrative suspension."
