PFDK fines Galatasaray and Dursun Özbek

The Turkish Football Federation's Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has imposed a total fine of 800,000 TL on Galatasaray Club and Dursun Özbek due to their "statements regarding referees and other match officials" made on January 12. No penalty was issued to Erden Timur, who had also been referred to the committee.

It was decided that there was no need to impose a penalty regarding Dursun Özbek's statements made on January 16.

"Regarding GALATASARAY A.Ş., although a referral was made to our Committee due to unsportsmanlike conduct and statements regarding referees and other match officials in a video post on the club's official social media account (X) after the match and in statements published on the club's official social media account (YouTube) on 16.01.2024, it has been decided that THERE IS NO NEED TO IMPOSE A PENALTY as the elements of the alleged disciplinary violation were not met,

Regarding GALATASARAY A.Ş. President DURSUN AYDIN ÖZBEK, although a referral was made to our Committee due to unsportsmanlike conduct and statements regarding referees and other match officials in a video post on the club's official social media account (X) after the match and in statements published on the club's official social media account (YouTube) on 16.01.2024, it has been decided that THERE IS NO NEED TO IMPOSE A PENALTY as the elements of the alleged disciplinary violation were not met,

GALATASARAY A.Ş. shall be punished with a FINE OF 400,000 TL due to the statements regarding referees and other match officials made by the club president to members of the press on 12.01.2024 and published on the club's official social media account (YouTube),

GALATASARAY A.Ş. President DURSUN AYDIN ÖZBEK shall be punished with a FINE OF 400,000 TL due to his statements regarding referees and other match officials made to members of the press on 12.01.2024 and published on the club's official social media account (YouTube),

Regarding GALATASARAY A.Ş. administrator ERDEN TİMUR, although a referral was made to our Committee due to his unsportsmanlike conduct in statements made to members of the press on 12.01.2024 and published on the club's official social media account (YouTube), it has been decided that THERE IS NO NEED TO IMPOSE A PENALTY as the elements of the alleged disciplinary violation were not met,
