PFDK fines Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has issued a fine to Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk.
In a statement released by the TFF, it was announced that Okan Buruk was fined 117 thousand liras due to unsportsmanlike conduct during the Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa match.
It was stated that Galatasaray Club received a partial stadium closure penalty due to ugly and improper chanting by its fans during the same match.
It was also stated that Galatasaray player Michy Batshuayi was fined 117 thousand liras for unsportsmanlike conduct during the match played against Fenerbahçe.
It was reported that Beşiktaş Club was fined 288 thousand liras due to pitch incidents and ugly and improper chanting caused by its fans during the match against Bellona Kayserispor. It was noted that Kayserispor Club was also fined 336 thousand liras due to pitch incidents caused by its fans in the same match.
Trabzonspor was reported to have received a 300 thousand lira fine due to unsportsmanlike statements published on the club's website.
