PFDK referrals announced: Penalties for Galatasaray and Beşiktaş!

The Turkish Football Federation Legal Consultancy has announced the referrals made to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board on 14.05.2024.

The referrals made to the board are as follows:

"1- It has been decided to refer VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 53 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'ugly and bad chanting' and in accordance with Article 46 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction and Articles 6/6 and 6/7 of the 2023-2024 Season Super League Competition Statute due to 'actions contrary to instructions' during the VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK - GALATASARAY A.Ş. Trendyol Super League match played on 12.05.2024.

2- It has been decided to refer GALATASARAY A.Ş. Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 53 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'ugly and bad chanting', in accordance with Article 52 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'field incidents', and in accordance with Article 49 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'failure to keep stairwells clear' during the VAVACARS FATİH KARAGÜMRÜK - GALATASARAY A.Ş. 3- It has been decided to refer YUKATEL ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş. Club player MARIO BARWUAH BALOTELLİ to the PFDK with a precautionary measure as of 13.05.2024 in accordance with Article 43 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to his 'unsportsmanlike conduct' during the YUKATEL ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş.-GAZİANTEP FUTBOL KULÜBÜ A.Ş. 5- It has been decided to refer EMS YAPI SİVASSPOR Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 53 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'ugly and bad chanting' during the EMS YAPI SİVASSPOR-RAMS BAŞAKŞEHİR FUTBOL KULÜBÜ Trendyol Super League match played on 12.05.2024, and in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'statements regarding referees and other match officials' made by club administrator Gökhan Karagöl to members of the press after the match and published on the club's official social media account (YouTube),

6- It has been decided to refer RAMS BAŞAKŞEHİR FUTBOL KULÜBÜ technical director ÇAĞDAŞ ATAN to the PFDK with a precautionary measure as of 13.05.2024 in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to his 'insults' during the EMS YAPI SİVASSPOR - RAMS BAŞAKŞEHİR FUTBOL KULÜBÜ Trendyol Super League match played on 12.05.2024.

7- It has been decided to refer BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. 9- It has been decided to refer MKE ANKARAGÜCÜ Club to the PFDK in accordance with Article 36 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'unsportsmanlike conduct' in the post made on the club's official social media account (X) on 10.05.2024,
