Player linked with Fenerbahçe in transfer rumors signs with Tottenham
Scottish left-back Andrew Robertson, who parted ways with Liverpool, has become the latest signing for Premier League side Tottenham.
Tottenham, which struggled to remain in the league last season in the English Premier League, has made its first move of the summer transfer window by signing Andrew Robertson. The transfer of the 32-year-old experienced player was officially announced by the club.
Robertson had left Liverpool after his contract expired. The experienced Scottish footballer's name had been linked with Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş from Turkey during the transfer period, but Robertson preferred to continue his career in England.
Having played for Liverpool since 2017, Robertson achieved significant success during his long tenure with the red and white team. Making a total of 378 appearances for the English club, Robertson contributed to his team by scoring 14 goals and providing 69 assists during this period.
