Thank you speech from President Özbek: We will never forget

Dursun Özbek delivered a thank you speech following the approval of the 2025-26 budget at the annual ordinary budget meeting held at the Haliç Congress Center.

Stating that he had not expressed his thanks to two people in his morning speech, Dursun Özbek said, "One of them is our friend Bünyamin Derman, who is working on our project in Vadi Istanbul. He has supported us in many projects we have carried out with Galatasaray. 

I forgot to thank someone who responded to these requests from Galatasaray. I would also like to extend my thanks to Abdullah Kavukcu. He made a great contribution to our activities during the capital increase period and to our sponsorship efforts," he said.

Emphasizing that they will use the club's resources in the most accurate way throughout their tenure, Özbek said:

"While doing this, we pay attention to every expenditure we make so that the club can continue its operations in the strongest way possible, not just today but also in the future. Every penny of Galatasaray is our responsibility for the future.

We are aware of this responsibility, and we will never forget it. There is no end to Galatasaray's dreams. I believe we have taken important steps in this regard over the last 3 years.

We have always done what is right against the dirty alliances, slanders, and lies formed against us.

We will walk toward success together with Galatasaray in the coming period. We will never give up on the truth. I hope that the environment of unity, solidarity, and love created by this meeting will progress even further."
