Referee for the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby announced

FIFA-licensed referee Ozan Ergün will officiate the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray match to be played in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super League. This will be the first time Ergün has officiated a derby in his career.

Beşiktaş and Galatasaray will face off at Tüpraş Stadium on Saturday, March 7, at 20:00 in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super League. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referee Board (MHK) has announced the referee who will officiate this challenging match.

FIFA-licensed referee Ozan Ergün will blow the whistle for the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray match. The 34-year-old referee, who received his FIFA badge in 2026, will take charge of a derby match for the first time in his career.

HE HAS OFFICIATED THREE MATCHES FOR BOTH BEŞİKTAŞ AND GALATASARAY

Ozan Ergün has been assigned to 11 Super League matches so far this season. Three of these 11 matches officiated by Ergün involved Beşiktaş, and three involved Galatasaray.

Both the black-and-whites and the yellow-and-reds won all the matches they played under the officiating of the FIFA-licensed referee.
