Sadettin Saran makes bold statements regarding Fenerbahçe presidency
Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Sadettin Saran has announced plans to amend the club's bylaws and stated that he will resign from his post if he fails to secure a championship.
Sadettin Saran, who has joined the presidential race at Fenerbahçe, made significant statements regarding the future of the club.
In an interview with Sports Digitale, he said, "I believe that just as unsuccessful coaches are dismissed, presidents should also step down when they are unsuccessful. If the championship does not come, I will leave." Saran stated that these changes would be in the best interest of Fenerbahçe.
Sadettin Saran also touched upon his past relationship with former president Aziz Yıldırım.
Reminding that Yıldırım was the person who introduced him to the club and entrusted him with branch responsibilities during difficult times, Saran stated, "As a presidential candidate, I will request an appointment with Mr. Aziz. I want to benefit from his experience."
Sharing his views on the current state of the club, Saran emphasized that Fenerbahçe is in need of unity and solidarity. "There are external factors, but it is not right to hide behind them. We are in a vicious cycle, and we must break this cycle," he said. Saran pointed out that Fenerbahçe is a strong community in every field and highlighted the importance of utilizing this strength correctly.
