According to a report by Ntvspor, the agreement does not include a purchase option. Panathinaikos plans to hold further discussions in the future should they be satisfied with the 29-year-old player's performance.
The national footballer, whose contract with Fenerbahçe runs until 2026, has appeared in 11 matches for the yellow-navy team this season. Fenerbahçe had most recently strengthened its squad during the transfer window with Leonardo Bonucci and Rade Krunic.
