Samsunspor makes it 3 out of 3 in the UEFA Conference League

In the 3rd week of the UEFA Conference League, our representative Samsunspor faced off against the Maltese side Hamrun Spartans.

The Red-and-whites, who started the match played at the Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadium effectively, found the goal in the 19th minute.

Following a pass from Emre Kılınç, Carlo Holse moved behind the defense and sent the ball into the net. Although the match referee, Bulat Sariyev, initially disallowed the goal, it was ruled valid after a VAR review, bringing the score to 1-0.

The first half of the match concluded with our representative leading 1-0.

The Black Sea team extended the lead to 2 in the 58th minute. From a cross by Zeki Yavru from the right wing, Emre Kılınç struck the ball from outside the penalty area to make it 2-0.

In the 77th minute, Marius Mouandilmadji increased the lead to 3 following a perfect 'tap-in' pass from Carlo Holse: 3-0.

There were no further goals in the remainder of the match, and our representative Samsunspor left the pitch with a 3-0 victory, making it 3 wins out of 3 in the league phase.

With this result, Samsunspor continued its historic run in the Conference League and increased its points to 9. Hamrun Spartans, on the other hand, have yet to earn a point after 3 matches.

Samsunspor will face the Icelandic team Breidablik away in their 4th match of the Conference League.
