Samsunspor wins in the 90+3rd minute in rescheduled match!
In a rescheduled Süper Lig match, Samsunspor defeated İstanbulspor 2-1 at home.
Samsunspor and İstanbulspor faced off in a match from the 4th week of the Süper Lig that had been postponed due to heavy rain. The home team won the match at the Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadium with a score of 2-1.
İstanbulspor took the lead in the 41st minute with a goal from Emir Kaan Gültekin. Samsunspor responded to this goal in the 70th minute through Soner Aydoğdu. The Black Sea representative won a penalty in stoppage time. Marius Mouandilmadji stepped up to take the penalty for Samsunspor and missed, but Youssef Ait Bennasser sent the ball into the net on the follow-up, securing a 2-1 victory for his team.
İstanbulspor manager Hakan Yakın was shown a red card in the 72nd minute following his protests.
Following the 2-1 victory, Samsunspor moved up to 8 points. İstanbulspor remained at 5 points.
Samsunspor will travel to face Pendikspor away this weekend. İstanbulspor will play against Çaykur Rizespor on the road.
