Saudi Arabia sends letter to TFF demanding Super Cup payment back

Saudi Arabia has demanded that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) return the 4.5 million euro payment made for the Super Cup match, which was planned to be played in Riyadh between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray but was postponed due to the 'Atatürk censorship and banner' crisis.

According to the report by Sabah, Saudi officials sent a letter containing this demand, and it is stated that negotiations regarding the matter are ongoing between the TFF and Saudi Arabian authorities.

Saudi Arabia had paid 20 percent of the payment to the TFF and 80 percent to the clubs.
